McNeese State University, San Jacinto College – North, Lone Star College – Kingwood, Texas State University – San Marcos, and Sul Ross State University were schools in attendance.
The goal of the workshop was to introduce British Parliamentary debating among schools in the region. The workshop included a general introduction to the event, lectures on positions, lectures on motion analysis, viewings of exemplary WUDC elimination rounds with discussion, and two practice debates with critiques.
The practice motions were:
Round 1: This house supports torture.

Texas State University – San Marcos and McNeese State Univeristy, between the two schools, have competed at tournaments in Portland, Oxford, Worlds, Vermont, California and Colorado against BP focused debate programs.
